What we Offer:
We allow parents and care givers the
options of purchasing Regan's Guide to
Milk and Soy Free Living. This guide is
made up of three areas. The first is a
document that discusses reading food
labels. The next section highlights
different brands and products that are
milk and soy free. The 2nd section is
extremely helpful in regards to meal and
snack ideas. And finally the last section
contains delicious recipes that are milk
and soy free.
We have spent numerous hours reading
labels determining which products are
"Regan friendly."
Did you know that many, many of our
everyday foods contain milk and soy
products?
Did you know that many hot dogs,
peanut butter and dry lemonade mixes
contain milk or soy?
Did you know that many spices and
seasonings contain soy?
The above three are just a few
examples. Unfortunately, there are
many, many products that surprisingly
contain Milk and Soy. Please don't get
discouraged, we can help.
Goal:
Our goal is to
reach out and
make life easier
on parents
whose children
have been
diagnosed with a
milk and soy
allergy.
Our 18 month old almost died from an undiagnosed milk and soy allergy.
Before she was diagnosed, her periorbital edema was so bad that she could
barely open her eyes. We were told that this edema was due to seasonal
allergies. But we knew it wasn't seasonal allergies and something was
seriously wrong. Medical treatment was aggressively initiated when a lab
draw/CBC revealed a hemoglobin of 4.2g/dl.
We have been extremely discouraged with the lack of circulating information
and dietary ideas for children with milk and soy allergies. Therefore, we
(Regan's mom and dad ) developed this web site to provide support and
reach out to other parents in this similiar situation.
This is Regan's site and this is her story.
